Fujita Tuyoshi was born in Sapporo on October 18, 1963. A graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Art History and Commercial Graphic Design, he entered the real estate business in 1992 and became one of it`s top ten sales agents in 1998. The following year, Fujita became vice president of the Japanese company Yamato Transport, USA in Atlanta, Georgia. He was employed there from 1999 until last year, 2006. During this time, he contributed to the Japan-America Society as a High Musem of Art support member, and was an honorary major contributor of Atlanta Area Japanese school`s western art educational center. His unique way of talking about and explaining art to his students made him very popular with his students. As a result of ten years of contribution, Fujita has received many rewards for his service. Do to his passion for teaching, he has made numerous proposals on peace, victory over violence, culture and education at local community associations such as the Boys and Girls club of America. An avid photographer, he recently had a shot on display in the Sapporo Fuji Film Photo Salon (displayed at right, a shot taken in the mountains around town). Fujita-san is also extremely excited to meet people from across the world interested in this place called Furano.
